WELCOME to Rocky Springs Farm.  We appreciate your taking the time to visit our site and hope you enjoy viewing our goats. Rocky Springs Farm is a fourth generation family farm located in the piney woods of East Texas near Sam Rayburn Lake.  We have been involved with livestock all our lives and began adding the Boer Goats in l994.  We have been members of the American Boer Goat Association since l995. We started with the traditional Boer Goats and still retain a nice set of full blood traditional does.  The red goats became a delight with the discovery of our foundation red herd sire BPG Tug. We purchased in partnership with our good friends at 2XL Boer Goats  NDR Xtreme Gambler a red paint grandson of Ennobled Eggstreme that sired some great producing daughters for us. Then I found the goat that has excited us ...... the dapple.  During a visit to my good friend Carol Delobbe of Bon Joli Farm I discovered her fabulous dapple buck Rhodapple and immediately ordered a dappled son.  That came into being the following spring with Bon Joli Hail Storm. Along with our good friends at Seminole Creek Farm we purchased four does in partnership which included daughters of Eggspense Account Ennobled, RRD Top Brass Ennobled,  and RRD Remfire Ennobled.  We are striving to produce an animal that is productive under pasture and forage conditions.
