WELCOME to Rocky Springs Farm.  We appreciate your taking the time to visit our site and hope you enjoy viewing our goats. Rocky Springs Farm is a fourth generation family farm located in the piney woods of East Texas near Sam Rayburn Lake.  We have been involved with livestock all our lives and began adding the Boer Goats in l994.  They have since become the most important part of our farm. We have tried to use the best genetics that are available in the Boer Goat business.................................. Genetics from such outstanding South African  bucks as Mojo (Ennobled), Kaptein (Ennobled), Ubora (Ennobled), Oakridge Hudson (Ennobled), Tsjaka (Ennobled), PBL J.R.,*Stallion, *Sir, and South African breeders JJ Schoemann, Nico Botha, W.H. Vorster, JC Venter, Jr. among others have formed the base of our herd. We also have some excellent Australian and New Zealand genetics as well. Our Colored Breeding Program is based upon a linebred Ennobled Kaptein red buck..TUG...plus the outstanding full South African paint bucks COLOR CODE (Codi/Pci) , EXTREME GAMBLER, and  RAISE THE LIMIT.  See them all on our "Herd Sires" page.  The red and paint does which will form the beginning carry genetics from the best.....JJ Schoemann, Nico Botha, Extra, JC Venter Jr., Almond Acres Chopin, etc.  Others will be added as we find the complete package of correct structure, genetics, and color.
